Puppy Cruelty, One Dead Two Survived on Madison Street

This publication is free to all Columbus County Residents.

A man in a truck threw out three little puppies while driving on South Madison Street Wednesday January 24, 2012 in Whiteville. One of the defenseless puppies was hit by a car and died. People were running from everywhere trying to help those pups, and with all that was happening no one was able to get the description of the truck. These little puppies are only about four months old.

A lady took them into her shop and then called for help. They are now safe and in a warm home  where they have bed, food, and kindness. They will be spayed and then put up for adoption. RIP little one that suffered by the hands of someone that has no heart. Why didn't the man take them to the shelter? It was as if he wanted them all to be ran over. There must be some one that knows that these puppies existed and can identify the man. How can someone be so heartless and mean? This is a crime and if you saw this happen and know this man or the description of the truck, please call the Whiteville Police Department with any information you may have. You can ask them that your  information be kept strictly confidential. Question: if he would do this to puppies in the middle of town what would do to children on the back street?
These puppies were saved because of active Whiteville citizens who care and  the Cape Fear Rescue League which is at work 24 hours a day in Columbus County.

Cape Fear Rescue League is for the humane care of all animals in Columbus County
