Armed Robbery in Calabash
This morning (11/29/2012) at 5:44 am, Brunswick
County deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery
call at Winners World, 10200 Ocean Highway,
Calabash, NC. There were two subjects involved, both
identified as black males. One male was heavy built
about 270-300 pounds with no mask and the other male
was tall and slim about 170 pounds with a mask
covering his face. After taking an undetermined
amount of cash, they both left in a car in an
unknown direction.
Arrests Made in Winner’s World Robbery
Update on Armed
Robbery – Winner’s World, Calabash, NC
On November 29, 2012 at approximately 5:42 am, two
men entered Winner’s World Sweepstakes by shooting
out the front door committed a robbery. An ongoing
investigation by Detectives of the Brunswick County
Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the following
persons being arrested:
Xavier Aturo Jenrette, age 22, 3032 Bird Drive,
Shallotte, North Carolina
• Currently held in the Brunswick County Detention
Facility under $154,000 bond and is charged with
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Robbery with a
dangerous weapon. He is also charged with simple
possession of marijuana and several traffic offenses
in unrelated matters.
Brandon Leroyal Dyson, age 28, 2547 Hwy 111, Little
River, South Carolina
• Currently held in the Brunswick County Detention
Facility under $150,000 bond and is charged with
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Robbery with a
dangerous weapon.
Jacobian Wilson, age 34, of 530 Sandy Ridge Loop,
Longs, South Carolina
• Currently held at the J. Reuben Long Detention
Center in Little River, South Carolina. He has
waived extradition and is being transported to
Brunswick County this afternoon. He is charged with
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
James Kenneth Allison, age 29, of 692 McNeil Chapel
Road, Longs, South Carolina
• Currently held at the J. Reuben Long Detention
Center in Little River, South Carolina. He has
waived extradition and is being transported to
Brunswick County this afternoon. He is charged with
Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Robbery with a
dangerous weapon.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of
Ronchekala Shawntae Veness, also known as “Koot”,
age 32, of 3243 Foxwood Drive, Loris, South
Carolina. The warrant charges her with Conspiracy to
Commit Robbery. Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office
Detectives are requesting that anyone with
information regarding the whereabouts of Ronchekala
“Koot” Veness, to please contact the Brunswick
County Sheriff’s Office.
Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are
also requesting that anyone with information
regarding the identity and whereabouts of the person
in the photographs below, to please call the
Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. A $500 reward is
being offered for information leading to the arrest
of this person.
