Hi! My name is Kim Coston. I have a 12 yr old daughter named Grace.  She was a very sassy, witty, and smart young lady. This was until October of 2011.  Grace was a student of Acme Delco Middle School.  In October Grace started complaining of being harassed daily by students in her class.  She always implied as if it were bullying, I did not know any different, I did not know that she was scared to tell the truth.  On October 20th I received a text message from Grace saying she was be picked on so bad that if I made her go back to school there she would make sure she would die. I had my cousin go pick her up and I made arrangements for her to meet with the DARE officer to report the bullying.  When she got to my job I told her to go to the computer and type up everything that had been going on so she wouldn't forget anything or leave anything out when speaking to the officer. As she typed she was reading to me what she was saying.  She got to a point where she said the boys were touching us like we are dolls. RED FLAGS went up. What are you talking about? Then, she proceeded to tell me what had happened in the gym. Three boys (who on a daily bases would fondle her body in almost every class) were in the gym. They were playing with a football. The ball ended up over at Grace who was sitting on the floor at the back end of the gym. She picked it up and the boys tried to take it from her.  She resisted jokingly and wouldn't give it to them.

She paid the price.  The boys proceeded to fondle her body, surrounding her and touching her all over her breasts, her behind, and between her legs.  One of the boys during the attack they "dry humped" her. They stopped molesting her and walked away went to finish playing. Grace hit the floor, in shock, two of her friends walked up and picked her up carried her to the bleachers. She didn't speak for minutes. When she did she didn't say much, that's when she texted me. We filed our complaint the next day with the school.  The school resource officer investigated. Charges were pressed. A few days later she attempted suicide thank God she did not succeed. From the time we made our complaint to just two weeks ago Grace has been tormented and tortured daily. She had her name written on the bathroom walls calling her names.  She found in a health book her name with the words is a whore under it. Grace was called names walking down the hallway.  After the attack, it was hard to make her go to school.  Especially since the boys were in her classes.  She was having to face her predators daily, for every period.  They would look at her and snicker, one boy went as far as telling her she was going to lose in court against him. It took my husband and myself a month to get the boys removed from her class.  

Still having their family members attacking her daily, she still faced them in passing and in the cafeteria. I begged her to be strong. After the first court appearance was postponed, we had to wait and continue the torture longer.  Almost daily I was calling the school complaining, nothing to be done. I sent letters to board member's, called Allan Faulk repeatedly. I don't know how many times he did not return my calls, I finally gave up on him.  In January we finally had court. Two of the boys got the charges dropped because there was a mistake on their warrant. One boy was charged with and found guilty for sexual battery. The day after the court appearance, Grace went to school, girls threw rocks at her.  I reported it. The next day someone grabbed her from behind and threw her down. Then, the following day she was thrown into the lockers. I had had enough, I got in touch with someone on how to get her transferred to another school. It was going to put us in a bind but I didn't care.  After considering all my options, I tried to get arrangements for her to be picked up from East Columbus High by bus and be transported to school.  Mr. Faulk, didn't seem to think that would work. I couldn't waste anymore time. She was being physically attacked daily. I got permission for her to go somewhere else, we are providing the transportation.  I do not understand, why I have to remove my child. Why does the victim have to leave her friends, and her familiar classes, because no one wants to punish the predators.  Pull them out, have them go to a different school, put them out. Mr. Faulk seems to be okay with not protecting our children.  School should be a safe and protected environment. The staff at all these schools need to be trained in bullying, and sexual behavior. They need to learn signs kids give off showing their is a problem. When a child walks by another and a the child cringes, there is a problem.  Please help us protect our children.  Make these schools also accountable for protecting our children.

These evil ones  are hidden from us until they choose to make themselves visible through evil deeds and evil words.  At Whiteville's News. We choose to expose them and make them visible to all. We must know who we live beside and shop around. The state does not protect us as it should. Money grabbing is our court system. It's way is extreme. Over and Over certain lawyers collect from the state fees to defend the same people over and over leaving then truly not punished. Knowledge is our best defense.  Evil dwells not in the spaces we know, but between them. They walk serene and primal, clocked in normality and to us unseen until they pounce upon a situation to destroy it.
